Micronics

Anything You Can Imagine

Say goodbye to the hassle of support structures. Instead of using filament or resin, Micron lays down thin layers of powdered material and fuses them together with a high-powered laser. During printing, printed parts are supported by un-fused powder from the previous layers, allowing you to print complex geometries in “mid-air”, opening up endless possibilities.

Unmatched Detail and Precision

Equipped with a custom closed-loop galvo laser system that can achieve <0.02mm repeatability and a spot size of just 0.25mm, Micron can easily resolve fine details and consistently meet the stringent requirements of your most demanding projects, delivering the high precision you need to bring your ideas to life.

Print Interlocking Parts In-place

Micron revolutionizes the creation of complex assemblies. With the capability to print moving components such as hinges and bearings in-place, Micron reduces your Bill of Materials (BoM) count and greatly simplifies your assembly process. Embrace the ease of creating complex, ready-to-use assemblies and unlock brand new opportunities.

Dependable Parts for Every Project

Ever felt the frustration of FDM printed parts splitting along layer lines and having to dig out a broken part hidden deep within an assembly? With Micron, those days are over! Our printer delivers fully dense parts made from Nylon, TPU, Carbon Fiber Composites, and other high-performance polymers, guaranteeing predictable performance and exceptional wear resistance. These parts can also be easily drilled and machined for quick adjustments without the risk of splitting – streamlining your prototype refinement and supercharging your development timeline.

Maximize Your Productivity

Escape the confines of a traditional 2D build plate with Micron! The nature of SLS printing eliminates the need for support structures, enabling you to stack parts directly on top of each other. This allows you to fully utilize the entire build volume, whether you’re creating all the necessary components for a complex project or producing hundreds of end-use parts overnight.

Hassle Free Operation

Say goodbye to the tedious, manual labor of traditional post-processing stations. With Micron, we’ve introduced a simple solution: a sift bin. After each print, all you need to do is scoop out the “powder cake,” dump it into the sift bin, and give it a good shake to separate the unfused powder. A quick media blast produces a perfect surface finish on your parts, while the unfused powder can be conveniently reused for future prints.
